Yes. Pixfin is built without them - no streak counter, no chain to keep alive, nothing that resets. What replaces it is a creature you are raising: every walk moves it toward its next growth stage, and progress you have already made is never taken back.
Pixfin is one, by design. Miss a day, a week or a month and nothing is lost: no counter resets, nothing dies, and your creature is exactly where you left it. Walk reminders come only at the times you choose, and the app never nags you or tells you that you have broken something.
